I just hope enough people watched that or read unspun accounts of it and understand. However, I guess that a large proportion of viewers (and most Tory members who will vote for the new PM) will take from that the Truss line that random world events combined with 'socialist' Sunak policies (that she voted for) have created massive problems for ordinary people and she will fix them - with Harry Potter economics and Oswald Mosely foreign policies.
This should be the shortest political suicide campaign in history - but probably won't be.
