I agree it is honest, and a very clear summary from an NEC member of many of Labour's internal issues. But it takes a stance that you have rubbished ever since you first gave an opinion on these things. Have you finally seen the light?

There is no light in politics just darkness and grey area , where people plot against each other, what saddens me is the awful racism and bullying existing in a party like Labour.. I always thought they were better and above that , how wrong I was ..

I don't think the racist Johnson has ever done undertones! I can't quite understand how I did your job for you on that point.

Why do you say the Africans were good people, were not simple minded and added to our life? Do you not think they still are?

No you've misunderstood yet again; I never said Anti Semitism wasn't a "thing" (sic). People from the Semitic speaking lands have experienced racial abuse for millennia.

I'm sure specifically Jewish racism is probably as widespread as other forms of racism and it's clearly not confined to any one political party as I'm sure you're intelligent enough to agree.

Do you wonder why the Forde Report got so little national media attention - and what it did get was often partial and distorted?

I am, but expected better from some, shocked it was allowed to get so bad in a decent party , its all about it being on your watch and allowing behaviours to develop as Sir Kier clearly talks about and has acted on ,sadly I think the days of Sir Kier maybe numbered as the unions and far left get activated to get rid off ,and we go around and around and around ,do feel for labour ..

It's been rife in the Tory party for years of course. I'm not so sure I'd agree with you in referring to them as a decent party though.

Turning to the Labour party I agree with you that Keir Starmer is not the right man to take Labour forward. Unfortunately, he's been put in the position of Leader to try to counteract awful and damaging smears from the right-wing press.

You don't appear to have a clue about what the report confirmed.

The main conclusions are that the right wing Labour staffers (the Keir Starmer supporters in current terms) did indeed run an unofficial election campaign to undermine the Corbyn leadership, did peddle islamophobic and racist comments in their 'private' Whatsapp group - directed mainly at black MPs who supported Corbyn, and were behind the slow-down in dealing with allegations of anti-semitism (many malicious, false or naming people who were not Labour members) whilst the Corbyn team was intervening to try and speed the process up! In most regards it confirms the case in the 'leaked' submission to the EHRC that was pulled by paid officials.

Corbyn and his office got a lot of things wrong (including sometimes on real cases of antisemitism), but the long-suppressed Forde Report comes down heavily on the racists and factional staffers who undermined the leadership, fed the antisemitism narrative, and in a number oif cases walked away with pay-outs from the Starmer cabal for the stress of being exposed! Paid out with members money!

Neither the incidents of sntisemitism, nor of staffers' racist comments when they thought they were safe, are as bad as the Tories produce as standard. But it is shocking in Labour. More shocking is the way the perpetrators have been financially rewarded and given cover (often in the form of silence) from the mainstream media - baring a few fringe opinion pieces.

    Forde Inquiry

I've read it, its poor, and unlike you I won't say you don't have a clue , I do have a clue and a view , racism is not going to make it better if its consider less nastier than the Tories , for me its wrong especially for Labour as they portray themselves as all inclusive , for the few not the many , and I was brough up to believe than mantra . As I matured I have found the Labour party harbours views and behaviours I think it unbecoming , and no I'm not a Tory, or a red faced gammon, racist ( another socialist bark, if someone doesn't with their narrow view of life )

I have since had time to read the report and its recommendations. It is a very sobering document which, in many regards, vindicates what a lot of us in the party already knew: that there was a conscious campaign of sabotage in the 2017 general election by party staffers, which included diverting funding away from seats the party could have won in favour of factional allies; that there is a gross culture of racism in the party, which has been experienced throughout the party and even by senior and long-standing black MPs such as Diane Abbott; and that attempts to deal with serious cases of anti- semitism appear to have been delayed for factional advantage...

Having campaigned for the last two years for this report to be published, if re-elected I will work on the NEC to ensure that the culture of toxic factionalism displayed in the report is replaced with a culture of tolerance, decency and democracy, so that Labour can campaign against this rotten Tory government.

Neither the incidents of antisemitism, nor of staffers' racist comments when they thought they were safe, are as bad as the Tories produce as standard. But it is shocking in Labour. ( this line is crazy its racism if its 1% or 90% ffs )

Whilst were on the matter of socialism language , I've been called everything on here if I dare disagree or praise a particular policy the government pursue oh when you do the real socialist loathing appears ands tell a narrative in modern socialism .

Racism in life , in fact the Brexit vote saw many vote to leave , then you get Labour voters saying we left and it was all about immigration / migration of workers some suggest that had racist type mantra connotations and overtones , so who are these Labour voters , are they racist or not , did they vote out because of wrongs shaped vegetables ?

What I see is a party highjacked by the far left and and not had the balls to go alone even after the electorate has spoken they could join the communist party who didn't stand last time , first time in 60 years as they favoured Corbyn politics , I here they will stand against Sir Bier ...

Kier needs to get rid of them all secure the NEC and move on like Blair did , not imploded on its elf over and over again without gaining power . What the Tories do well is implode and survive .......

Someone must like the Tories :

So, who’s written this lot? Somehow, I don’t see you standing for election to Labour’s NEC - at least I presume it’s Labour whoever it is is talking about?

That article about the Tory Party is dated nine days after the 2019 election and the Johnson worshipping in it looks livery much of its time now.

It's a mash up of Gemma Bolton (from the link in the first post), my post, and a random stream of consciousness from LOM who combines missing the point with spluttering and ignoring most of the words he has lifted.

He also wants a total purge in Labour, can't decide whether Starmer is to be admired or mocked, thinks hypocrisy about the scale of racism in UK parties is irrelevant, and has concluded that the Tories ability to win elections proves they are both popular and ruthless, therefore...... (something)?

Either that or we're back to alphabet soup!
