Thought the crowd was about par. One factor for a couple of thousand less than some expected could be the amount of fans that support the club from outside the Cardiff area and usually travel by train from Neath, PT, Bridgend and of course the valleys?

You only had to look at the pubs post Covid to know the cautious we’re the minority in my opinion

Loads of clubs' attendances suffered post Covid. I think a lot of people worked out football is quite an expensive and time consuming hobby. Coupled with a loss of attachments to their clubs and players due to being away for 2 years I wouldn't be surprised if Covid still has an affect on crowds for the next few years.

Edit: There was a good infographic going around halfway through last season comparing attendances pre and post Covid. If I can find it I'll chuck it up in here.
