A male is providing the commentary on ZDF (television channel) but it's in German and he's not wearing a dirndl.

The commentators spoil it for me.

"Lob" is the German word for praise. He may have confused the German viewers had he used that term. Instead, he used "Chip" which can mean potato crisp. Ist das klar?

    Jeez, I'm boring myself now

Excellent play from the German defender to set them forward for that goal. Top finish.

Re: England v Germany Womens Euro Final

Literal translation: The Germans have just made it undecided. (They have drawn level).

Well deserved equaliser for Germany. 2 great quality goals in this game.

Do they have hooligans in the women's game? If not then it's hardly equal is it?

Am I right in thinking that the goalscorer cupped her hands together a la Gareth Bale but in the shape of a Jägerschnitzel?

    Extra time.

The German side look fitter to me although England finished the game better.

Gotta be pelanties, the eventual winner taking it 24-23.

Extra time’s not really fair on the players partners. They’re gonna have to wait even longer now for their tea.

It's good to hear the female commentators don't know the laws as much as the men. It's called careless, reckless and excessive equality.

F*ck me the football cliches are flying like one of Lucy Bronze's tackles.

Re: England v Germany Womens Euro Final

Fair play, I’ve watched nearly all of the game and I’ve not heard a single 1966 reference - it must be a man thing.

Can't wait for this to finish so I can get out of these lederhosen.

Re: England v Germany Womens Euro Final

The commentator here, Ian Darke, keeps referring to England/Germany stats including the men's team. Weird as ****. Do they do that in any other sport? A league 2 team would crush either of these teams. Can't we just call a spade a spade?
