    Re: Haaland

He's kindly giving Chelsea a much needed rest tonight.
    Very good of him.

He's got to be worrying now, this doesn't help.

He'll smash records at this rate.
Wonder what odds were available pre-season for him doing that.

    Re: Haaland

They've subbed him on 60 mins and replaced him with Alvarez.

    Not that great I'd imagine.

    Re: Haaland

Haaland has scored more goals (25) in his 19 Premier League appearances than the whole Cardiff City team have (21) after 28 games.

Cardiff are the third lowest scorers in the whole EFL ahead of Crewe (20) and Gillingham (11)

You mean you're not surprised that a hugely prolific striker joining the league's best team with the leagues most creative player has scored a lot of goals?

So...just be thankful we do not support Gillingham!!! Hope Tan is not looking at their manager...

    I did too!

    Re: Haaland

An alternative view on Haaland. I'd still take him as our new no 9 though!

You still have to finish the chances that you get. This guy is the best finisher I've ever seen.
Better than Shearer, Van Nistelrooy, Henry etc etc.
It doesn't matter what he has behind him, you still have to give him credit for nailing it each and every time.

He's potentially the greatest finisher to ever play the game. One way or another, he finds a way of putting it in the back of the net, sometimes even from under his feet, something most strikers will fail to do.

Man City or not, if you put the ball into this guy, he'll finish the job.

    Re: Haaland

    Tan's already sacked him once.
Meant to reply to Maurice Swan ie Gillingham Manager.

I am giving him credit. I expected him to do well and he has.

He's back again lads, on the telly, the pony-tailed one.
Wonder what odds for another hat-trick?

  21. #246

    Re: Haaland

Just overtaken Aguero’s season total for Man City, chasing Tommy Johnson’s 38 goal record now.

    Re: Haaland

Three up half time, Bournemouth could very well fall apart here, the second half could be interesting, especially if they give de Bruyne a run out.

    Re: Haaland

27 goals already this season but apparently he’s the problem and City are better without him

Guys a freak he’s going to break all records

It's a shame for him he's Norwegian and highly unlikely to win a World Cup winner's medal. It would be great to see him in a final.
