Going to canary Islands help with pcr tests in Cardiff?

I'm fully vaccinated but one of my mates hasn't had any of the jabs but we are thinking of booking a holiday today to Tenerife.
I have no idea what or where we start regarding him getting a pcr test to enter Spain.
Flight is 8.00am on Sunday morning.

Went to Majorca last week. Didn’t think Covid passes were necessary any longer so didn’t have one.

No phone G in the airport so didn’t have the ability to acquire one.

Had to fanny about in my wallet where, fortunately, that little vaccination card was stowed and this was accepted by the masked border protectors.

Just come back from Portugal… no masks, no unreliable PCR test, just normality and fun , would recommend

Greece already booked for next year

I'm going to Portugal in a few weeks. Avoided the busy airports so we are flying from Bournemouth. This thread prompted me to look at the rules and basically there are none. Lifted a whole load of stress (although I went to Valencia last November and it wasn't that difficult). But great that Portugal is in the real world.

Went to Malaga in June and needed a covid pass but no tests - they did check but it was a cursory glance

We always take our covid passes, printed off from NHS Wales, validity extends every time you log on. At Alicante airport there are random checks, just before the luggage reclaim carousels. We’ve never been pulled but they do select a few.
