Phew TFFT!
Clean sheet and Allsop very little to do.
Great result and encouraging performance, plenty to improve and build on but it at least looks like we want to try and play. Really enjoyed it.
Should have been comfortable, but a good 3 points.
Really good football.
Should have been out of sight.
Good game. Should have killed them off first half. Always the better side. The goals will come though if we keep playing like this.
16 shots
7 on target
So happy it hurts.
Great performance all around, O'Dowda and Philogene looked really dangerous when on the pitch which is a welcome sight to have our wingers running at defenders. Moving Ng to centre back looks like a really smart move so far.
Practice getting the ball in the net and we'll be in the champions league in no time.
They just showed the stats on Sky.
They looked like those of Man Citeh!
Three good points, but Birmingham were dreadful.
We definitely lost something in midfield when Sawyers went off - Colwill has the skill to lay on some great passes, but he doesn't have the same work rate.
Just about how they had a plan in the wide areas and to double up on their wing backs. Made a point of saying how pleased he was with the clean sheet. Said no signings in the pipeline but if someone becomes available they will look at it. I do think he’s gets a bit nervous in interviews, doesn’t seem natural but still interesting.
One last moan on a glorious day.
That commentator was atrocious.
Had nothing nice to say about us and even said at the end that it wasn't easy.
About as easy as a 1-0 can be, surely?
Twat.
Is 1-0 ever easy? I was really nervous for the last 15 minutes and was mortified when I heard there were 6 minutes of injury time.
Love to see Wintles stats between halves. First half everything went through him & we were in control. Second half he was anonymous, their change of formation took him out of the game. Still the best midfield we’ve had in over a decade.
