    Striker Valuation

Forest sign Emmanuel Dennis for £20m after 10 goals last season and are supposed to be signing Brighton’s Maupay for £15m.
Additionally, Bristol City are supposed to value Antoine Semenyo at £12m.

Makes Kieffer’s transfer fee look ridiculously small!

It does but f*ck me these fees are crazy! I thought there was supposed to be some sense of perspective after COVID. Mad money.

Seems like Nottingham Forest have money to burn, which is a huge contrast to Leicester City.
The top clubs have largely gone back to spending big!

It does explain our predicament in recruitment in that area that has appropriate values and costs in .

How about a sneaky loan grab for Lewis Grabban he will struggle to get into Forest team this year

Moore is over 30. The other three are 24, 26 and 22. All of Moores prior career has been in the Championship and below. There are very few, if any, clubs who would pay £10m plus for a player of that age/experience.

Then you're not taking into account his international experience?

Moore would have 100% walked away on a free at the end of his contract.

So, really it was a poor deal but one that had to be made

We should have had a fee at least double what Bournemouth paid even if 50%+ was based on Bournemouth getting promoted.

plus a considerable amount of wages saved - probably in the region of £250,000.

I couldn’t give a toss about hiw much we glt for Moore… I am however concerned about the impact of over £60million of forward signings will do to Brennan Johnson’s chances of grtting game time, unless they’ve had a £50million offer from a top 6 club for him that is.
