If I had just watched City beat Man Utd 4-0, I wouldn’t consider it a miserable fan experience.

Without checking past weeks, I'd say the weather has a lot to do with the seemingly low percentages yesterday.

Look no further than Rugby Union for fans being robbed.

    Only right at the end.
    The "end" seemingly arbitrary.

Why not lengthen halves to 60 minutes ? Or just have a minimum amount of time the ball has to be in play (75 minutes ?) and keep playing until that figure is reached. An extra official would obviously be needed to keep track and inform the ref when the threshold is passed. He could then just pick up the ball and walk off. Or (and this is revolutionary), why don't the powers that be just stop fiddling with the rules and leave them as they are.

There is still SO much more that could be done to stop time wasting which I think that everyone hates. (especially goalkeepers - it was good to see the Reading keeper having a disaster yesterday after his antics the week before 🤣)

The 30 minutes each way proposal is based on the ball being in play.
