both Dynamo & Ukraine are playing home games in LKS Lodz brand new stadium.

Only my 2nd CL game after PSV v Arsenal about 15 years ago.

16,400, including around 15 Benfica fans. Smart new LKS stadium roughly the same size as CCS but only holds 20k lots of free space inside. Beer around £2, foot long hot £1,50.

On the pitch it was very one sided. Benfica played 3-5-2, Kiev 4-4-2. Benfica won 2-0 but took their got off the gas 2nd half. Kiev (tractors) static, slow, few ideas, Benfica (sportscars) quick, lots of movement & width, great counter attacks.

Still at least we’ll have Europa League group games. Hull stubs kept for some big European teams in the group.
