Not a refereeing name I'm immediately familiar with, however he did ref us 4 times last year, the most recent of which was the 1-1 draw up at West Brom in January where he dished out 3 red cards.

And between him and the lino missed the obvious offside for WBA's goal.

I knew there was something else from that game- thank you for reminding me! I may or may not have been slightly intoxicated that day

I was definately fecking annoyed as the offside was so obvious even from the acute angle as viewed from the away end. Even more pissed off that a mate of mine in the home end had a very good view and agreed it was offside. Both players. Refs eh? Rant over!

I'll be heading in the opposite direction to Bristol, on holiday, unfortunately. Bedminster CC car park (ideal if coming from S Wales/Midlands) is now run by Ashton Events Parking with the entrance before the cricket club as you head towards Ashton Gate. W3W location, above, will get you to the right place.

Think this will be a tight game today. 0-0, 1-0 or 0-1, can’t call it. Will we finally have some end product to all our good build up play?

Good to have strong options to mix it up on the bench, Ojo played well midweek I thought

Watching him him at West Brom, he ran round a lot and got drawn too much to the wings chasing defenders, for my liking, leaving no-one in the centre.

    Match facts

    • Bristol City have won their last two league matches against Cardiff, last winning three in a row between December 2001 and December 2007, a run of four wins.
    • Five of the last six league meetings between Bristol City and Cardiff City have been won by the away side, although the last encounter was a home win for the Robins in January.
    • Bristol City have lost just one of their last six home league games (W2 D3), going down 3-2 against Sunderland earlier this month.
    • Cardiff City have lost just one of their last eight league games on a Sunday (W5 D2), going down 3-0 at Swansea in October last season.
    • Andreas Weimann has been involved in nine goals in his last seven league games for Bristol City, scoring six and assisting three.
