Thread: Newcastle v Man City

    Newcastle v Man City

Good game this, man city started well but Newcastle well on top at the moment, so much pace going forward.

Like watching a different sport really.

Levels to this shit and we are nowhere close to either of these teams levels. 1-1

Newcastle are swarming Man City, is the balance of power shifting? It's still early days, but the Top 10 makes interesting reading.

The lesser teams have upped their pressing game, Leeds demolished Chelsea earlier today.

Impressed by Newcastle. I'll be surprised if they can keep this tempo up mind.

They both spent more money on their physios than we've spent on our entire squad .
    Football is completely bent.

    They've also employed decent managers.

Cardiff have always been a badly run club who make terrible choices, and we've already messed up two bites of the Premier League cherry.

Best league in the world by a very wide margin these days.

We were competing with Newcastle in the Championship not all that long ago. Could the current situation be down them them making better choices than us, or maybe they just got lucky with their choice of billionaires?

They were in the championship but I'm not sure it was much competition.jist a much bigger club, bit of luck with their owners, there are a few other clubs of similar size they could have chosen.

Funnily enough the much hated Ashley keeping their books in order may we'll have helped.

I always think back to the Real Madrid game and wonder where all those fans come from, and where did they go to? We squandered the chance of being a big club many years again, through a combination of bad owners and a lack of ambition. We could have kicked on in 2013/14, but it wasn't meant to be.

Our best crowds for the time have always been when we've been in the top division or challenging for promotion to the top flight. Most clubs are the same, apart from those who have been top flight regulars. If we'd had decades in the top flight we've have grown a fanbase that was more loyal. That's how football fans are in general.
