Anyone surprised at current standings?
Reading and Bristol sit 2nd and 3rd
Boro and Huddersfield 22nd and 23rd
Looks to be another classic Championship season

Yes I am surprised. We have a wafer thin squad so to have 15 points is a great effort. For Reading this season is all about avoiding relegation. We come out of the transfer embargo next summer.
We won’t stay near the top but that’s not a worry. When we lost 4-0 in midweek it didn’t bother me because of the points we had already picked up.
It's early days, sometimes you play teams at the wrong time and before you've had a chance to work out their weaknesses. The final top six are already on the rise and their budget and squad size will carry them through over the season, for the rest it's just doing the best we can with limited resources.
Hull, Boro, Huddersfield we'll have a better idea of where we will finish after those games.
