    Re: Alexis Mac Allister

Just 4 seasons ago we did the double over Brighton in the EPL. Look at them now. Absolutely amazing.

Four and a half minutes it took to come to a decision and there was a five minute delay at Newcastle was it while they looked for a reason to disallow another goal - the system that was brought in to correct “clear and obvious” errors has now become a killjoy’s tool designed to rob football of its spontaneity.

The offside was clear and obvious. The time it’s taking is now the problem.

Yeah, I'd be miffed if I scored a goal like that, and had to wait 4 1/2 minutes.

Well done Brighton. They look some team this season.

    Leicester for relegation?

Well done to Billy Gilmour for refusing to play the Chelsea loan army game. The one thing Brighton and Leicester have in common is they both mugged Chelsea in the transfer market.

Losing Smichael was a big blow. There does seem something a miss with them lately.
This premier league takes no prisoners!

They have a lot of good players, but some established PL teams will go down this year.

Not sure why a guy air kicking a cross is deemed offside when on other occasions the ball can fly a mm passed a player’s boot right in front of the keeper and it’s deemed ok because he didn’t touch it.

MU Arse next, The Brazilian Antony looks like he might have something about him, and he goes straight into the starting XI.

VAR is too forensic and over the top.

They study each decision in too much detail. It should be a quick look for anything clear and obvious not a forensic analysis of every frame from every camera.

It’s as if they look at every goal scored and think “now, how can we disallow this one?”.

It should be up to the ref whether or not VAR is used. Not the other way around.

Not really. Referees are not wanting to look like they are making too many howlers.

The VAR should view the replays in real time. Most contact between players looks like a foul in slow motion.

they should just give each team 2 challenges per game that they can refer to VAR

Good idea. Works in tennis. But Klopp would demand 5.

FA should look at the TMO system in egg.
