Now Bangladesh on the other hand, 3/4 of which is below sea level. Rising sea levels will make it harder and more expensive to build and maintain adequate flood defences. If they fail or simply can’t create the appropriate defences then 150million people need to find somewhere new to live.

I thought you said you were doing some in-depth research on this? Why are you being silly acting like the sea is going to rise 100 metres?
And they're hardly buying mansions that will fall into the sea within 12 months

Surprised there's no mention of Thunberg, until now.

What worries me is climate poverty , if anyone thinks reaching zero target in such a short time won't effect the poor they are barmy or don't care .. its okay for the middle classes to get all caring , and insulate their homes and drive in hybrid cars ,where are the answers and support for those who can't afford this ???

Jeepers we are still seeing food famine in countries??

Some of it down to man-made climate change leading to greater flooding, more droughts and worse forest fires. The food supply in Pakistan (and Bangladesh before) has not been helped by half the country being under water. The people suffering there aren't worrying that they can't afford a hybrid car or loft insulation - but they might be worrying that they will starve because of sneering climate deniers who pretend concern for poorer western consumers when they are really just propagandists for Big Oil.

Affordable green energy (and affordable homes, heat and food) must be at the heart of government policy in the UK and developed world and available to all.

Not surprised that the climate change denialists haven't responded to this.

So what was the answer? Care to have a stab at answering it?

Still waiting for a response to this.

Wales-Bales is busy compiling a list of houses for sale in Penarth to dispel that pesky “rising sea levels” myth.

He’s doing thorough research on all this you know.
