I went a step further and I now live in a tent in the garden. The bulldozers are coming next week to demolish the house, so I can have more space for free footie kick abouts.

Do you save more by putting bottles of mineral water in the fridge, than the cost of buying them in the first place?

The bottles concerned actually contain tap water (as I drank the fizzy contents as a matter of course). Forgot to mention that. They could be large plastic Coke bottles that would otherwise be sent to the tip etc.

Exactly how large are you talking about? I can't fit those 5 litre bottles into my fridge.
