Meant to post this the other day but got caught up in the World Cup. A gentleman and fantastic representative of Splott, Frank gained one Welsh cap against Chile on the South American tour of 1966. RIP Frank, a true giant amongst men.

He may have been, his son, Frankie jnr who I played with for Bridgend Street, was born in Northampton due to Frank snr being based there (or was it Peterborough?, it was one or the other).

No, Frank & his late wife lived in Splott for years.

Wasn’t he a centre half,in the good old days ?
I remember the name and I think I saw him play but that’s about it, I’m afraid.
