At least there was some logic with Harris's appointment. He had 245 games at Millwall whereas Trollop, Morison & Hudson had 4 between them. Like Slade, he did show he could manage a football club, he wasn't great but knew the time of day.
I liked Slade
Honest tracksuit manager
Lennie Lawrence kind of bloke
Does he live in Penarth ?
Remind me, who was the only Cardiff City manager who got Tomlin playing to somewhere near his potential during his four years and seven months at the club?
When Neil Harris was appointed as City manager in November 2019, the team were 14th in the table. By the end of the season, the team were up to 5th and were narrowly beaten in the play-off semis by a quality Fulham side.
That's as good as it got for Harris, and it was as good as it got for City too. It's been pretty much all downhill since then. However, the fact is that when Harris was sacked in January 2021, the side was 15th in the Championship. He certainly wasn't the best manger City have had, but he was far from the worst. Only an idiot would think otherwise.
"Traksuiit managers": They're just managers that wear tracksuits. It's not like tracksuit managing is an actual thing. It's not a style of managing. It's just clothing.
