Actually people perhaps don't realise that if you suffer a cardiac arrest at home you have a 10-15% chance of surviving and that really depends if there is someone around to perform CPR on you.

Luckily my son was and as he is training to be a Physiotherapist he has practised it as a part of his course.

Even so, I was still not expected to survive for the next few weeks until I came out of my coma.

And the survival rate if you arrest in a hospital setting is not great either.

Incidentally when you see these hospital drama's or documentaries when they say someone is in VF (Ventricular Fibrillation) it means they have had a Cardiac Arrest.

So,yes Lisa Marie Presley's death was pretty relevant to me despite some of the ignorant responses on this thread.
I was thinking the other day that more of us should find out how and when to use a defibrillator. They are all around us but trying to find out how to use it when someone is in distress is not the opportune time.

It’s much better to have the training for a defibrillator but you’ll still be able to use one if you haven’t. As soon as you open the defibrillator, it explains exactly what to do. There are also diagrams on the bag which contains the pads ,showing where to put them. If the pads are put on properly, and they detect a rhythm, you won’t be able to shock the patient accidentally.

Elvis will be fuming when he gets home from his chip shop shift, I’d imagine that he’s all shook up at the moment.

Do people who were rebels in their life really want to rest in peace?

Stay healthy bluebird, all the best and that, but it's definitely weird.
    You are rather pathetic really..

Don't call me weird or odd again please

In your case that is the pot calling the kettle black

I see what he’s getting at but no need for it.

People are drawn to high status deaths but some like to avoid the negativity. That being said no one has to click on any thread they don’t want to

You couldn't have gone there without seeing Elvis, which would just be weird.

Didn’t realise her son took his own life in august 2020 at 27…..I’m really not sure how anyone copes with that sort of grief.
