We managed 2 points in home games v Blackpool Wigan Hull.

Really needed 9 and a minimum id say of 7 from those.

Huge opportunity for Whitehead to stake a claim for the job

I’m of a more positive disposition
I have a funny feeling that we’re going to WIN today

Blackpool game off so we can’t drop into the relegation zone. Positive start haha

We also need to break fast.

Hopefully Maguiness will also make us slightly more of a set piece threat. We need to battle and scrap for every point.

Allsopp Ng Maguiness Kipre O Dowda Ralls Wintle Colwill Davies Robinson Harris.

I see no option other than O Dowda at left back. Harris hasnt the ability of Philogene but id rather him in a battle.
Yes, we'll need his and Isaak Davies's graft today. Philogene doesn't do it for me; apart from against Sunderland he's been a luxury player which we can't afford.

    McGuinness straight in the side
Allsop, Ng, McGuinness, Kipre, O'Dowda, Wintle, Rinomhota, Philogene, Ojo, Robinson, Etete.

Subs - Alnwick, Nelson, Sang, Ralls, Sawyers, Colwill, Davies

Ojo Philogene and Etete. Not sure about that.

    Team News

Cardiff City XI: Allsop; Ng, McGuinness, Kipre, O'Dowda; Wintle, Rinomhota; Philogene, Ojo, Robinson; Etete.

DW has obviously decided to go for it today.

I'm not totally sold on it either. You can perm two from three, but to include all three...

Looks that way. It's certainly bold.

No football person would pick those 3 in the same team

    This is Vinny team

    Re: Team News

I'd prefer us have a go at them rather than be over cautious

No football man would pick this team, it’s a Vinny team

    Re: Team News

We can have a go at them with Davies and Colwill.

Im really suprised Etete is playing after his performance v Leeds.

Disappointed Davies isnt starting more than anything.

I hope Whitehead doesn't think Etete can be a target man or a player to hold the ball up.

Win and the Job is DWs. Lose and it might force Vinny's hand. Draw and we will bumble on to the next match,

I don't want to watch it.
Decent performance and DW might get the job.
Another pathetic performance will spoil my Saturday.

Why not Davies instead of Ojo? I'm perplexed and stunned.

    0-1

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MILLWALL. Match thread

    Philogene

Kipre directly at fault in a mix up with Allsop but Philogene should be taken off now!!
Too sloppy in attack and a liability in defence.
