On a slightly related topic, I saw Jah Wobble at the Camden Jazz Cafe a couple of weeks back, and he was bloody excellent.

Regardless of what you think of J Lydon, dementia is a very serious illness

My mum passed away from it before Christmas, felt like we lost her gradually over the previous two years.

Thanks Sludge. It was yes, the hardest part was when she stopped talking. Wouldn’t wish the condition on anyone.

I found a lot of help and support from solace , a group of psychiatric nurses who specialised in dementia , based at Llandough hospital

The admiral nurse service was excellent too and Marie curie provide support after death

He's fantastic and a real entertainee. Saw him at The Globe a while back. Once he gets into a groove, an earthquake ain't shifting him.
