I can remember reading about it, but it was just a bit before my time.
Though only six points scored in that game, it may have been a thrilling encounter compared to England - Wales a year earlier which finished 0-0. A year later Scotland and New Zealand also drew 0-0.

Has any team ever fielded a worse 9 and 10 then England are here. Awful players. Farrell alone has probably cost England 10 points first half. Hopefully the Italians can take advantage and launch a comeback

From the results of the 1962 Five Nations it must have been a snooze-fest from a points scored perspective. Wales scored just nine points in their four games but only lost one of them.

I bet the people of Wales and Ireland were on tenderhooks for months waiting for that game that was carried over to November to be played.

Wales’ nine points came from two penalties and a drop goal

Biggar needs to leave his ego in the dressing room. He was poor again.

It’s going to get worse too, I can’t see Wales getting anything in Rome either. Before long the question will be whether Georgia should replace Wales in the Six Nations.

17-24 Italy v Ireland. Great first half. Wales miles behind all teams this year but still wouldn’t rule out a one off win later

    It’s only 0-3 mate haha.

If we stop kicking away possession and try to play rugby we may actually look like scoring some points. Like watching tennis at the moment.

Aaaaaand I jinxed it. If England continue this domination it could be a long 80, I do agree with that.

Can someone who knows more about rugby than me tell me what Wales’ game plan is here?

Haven’t a clue mate, no cohesion, no plan, no chance of a win.

It does look like to me they’re going to force and capitalise on English errors but just go out and play bloody rugby.

Seems to be to kick the ball as aimlessly as possible.

“Right lads, England have some of the best players of the kicking game on the pitch today, what’s the plan”?

“Well, I was thinking, let’s kick the ball to them constantly”

    “Great plan boss”

    Re: Six Nations thread

Losing the physical battle a lot.

Think we wanted to kick the ball a lot to move the big men in the England team about. Our kicking game has been second best though.

Some of the communication and decision making has left a lot to be desired too. Tapping and going on that penalty first half when nobody was with Tomos Williams was a bad decision. As was Faletau's decision to carry one more time with no support just before half time.

Still in it though as it stands.
