    Body recovered from River Wyre

Some kind of closure for the family if it does turn out to be Nicola Bulley, although the circumstances are still unexplained at the moment.

    Sad but almost inevitable News.

It's been weeks since she disappeared and the river is relatively calm so I can't understand why the plod didn't go kayaking down the river to the estuary. The River Wyre isn't known for its rapids.

It’s a very tidal river apparently.

They used both police and private diving teams and didn’t find the body. Shows what a difficult task it was.

Bodies do not float for a while after drowning.

A lot of people owe the police an apology. The media and the general public have been an embarrassment.

The police and the family. The internet experts, fools.

The private company used a form of sonar which can see every stick and stone. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...la-Bulley.html

Not sure what's happened, seemed it was extensively searched by this company and the police. For her to only be a mile away when they were out looking in the sea at one point seems strange to someone like myself with no real knowledge of these things. I'm sure they will have reasons why the search has failed.

It does seem very strange on the face of it. I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation.

Sonar produces a 3D image but generally doesn't penetrate past the first object it comes to.
