    Ryan Allsop

Relegated the last two seasons, and should have saved that first shot at least, very poor shot-stopper.

I thought he looked good when he arrived but realise that was just because he is quite good at playing the ball out from the back.

The rest of his game is poor no wonder Sabri is looking for a keeper!

Worst goalkeeper we have had since Peter Enckleman. We definitely need a new keeper between the sticks, been saying that since our second game this season

Surely Alnwick is worthy of a start? Allsop reminds me of a ghost. Everything goes through him.

    Re: Ryan Allsop

Would not say he is as poor as Enckleman , the back ups are convincing , where's Joe Day when you need him

As CF Nth rightly points out he looked very capable when he arrived .

    Worth a punt https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gied.../spieler/69001

I must admit I thought the danger he posed was giving the ball away in the box while trying to dribble past 3 strikers but it's actually just when someone gets a shot on target.

He was unsightly for the 1st goal

    He's adequate

We will go down if we go down because we don't have anyone who can score

    He's surely worth a punt.

And he was brought in first..

Alnwick is like allsopp , a lower league keeper

    Both are fine for now

It's up front we are relegation fodder

    We know. You've said.

Repeating yourself is a sign of insanity.

Allsop has his weak points, but slagging off the keeper in a team with our scoring record is like trying to fix a windscreen wiper on a car with no brakes.

Just because we can't score doesn't mean we can't point out the keeper is shit.

He’s not shit though, we’d have let in far more and Alnwick would be in goals now if he was.

He's not very good, I don't trust him, not sure about Alnwick, Sabri wants a new keeper he's a better judge.

If I had no brakes I would find it vital to be able to see where I was going, they are both important.

How do we know he’s looking for a new keeper? I’ve seen one story linking us with someone who must be Forest’s fourth choice keeper.

I don’t think he’s the best but not the worse either. First one maybe should have done better with but it looked like it went through someone’s legs, so maybe didn’t have a great deal of sight for it.

    Was never stopping the 2nd.

    Quite.

    He isn't the problem.

I personally think he's shit. Perhaps I'm being harsh, I just don't like him as a GK.

Yep , he was late to it because it went through the defenders legs , very few goalkeepers would have saved that

    Precisely

Not scoring goals will send us down , not keeping them out

We ain't going to stay up by drawing every game

Yes, I've seen that too, so if he thinks he will be better imagine what he thinks of our keeper, plus if I can see he's not very good, Lamouchi is bound to be able to see it with an even more critical eye as he is vitally important to Lamouchi's success. It's his job to spot the weaknesses and find replacements.

Less chance if the keeper isn't keeping the shots out, drawing nil-nil, is better than losing one or two nil?

he doesn't command the area either from crosses and doesn't always catch them either. He is fantastic at sweeping though and normally good with his feet, that's his strength and probably why he was brought in

I don’t rate him but he’s not that bad looking.
