It's the "Easter Bank Holiday Monday" stats thread!!

I appreciate at this moment there will be hundreds of thousands of you unable to contain their joy, so here goes....

Tomorrow will see us playing a league game on an Easter bank holiday for the 79th time. Of the previous 78 occasions we've won 28, lost 29 and drawn 21. We have scored and conceded 93 goals on this day, keeping 27 clean sheets but failing to score on 22 occasions. We have played at home 49 times and been away on only 29 occasions.

Our largest wins on Easter Bank Holiday are 4-0 home successes against Liverpool in 1953 and Newport County in 1988. There were 35 years between those wins. This year marks 35 years since the win against County. Lump on!

Our heaviest Bank Holiday defeat occurred only 2 years ago, losing 5-0 at Hillsborough under big Mick.

Our most common Bank Holiday scoreline is a 1-0 win.

Our most regular Bank Holiday opponents are Swansea City, meeting them 5 times in a decade, including 4 times in 5 seasons between 1986 and 1990. We've won once and lost 3 times to them on a Bank Holiday. We've played Birmingham, Blackburn, Bristol City, Burnley, Liverpool, Southend and West Ham 3 times. Tomorrow will see us face Sunderland for the third time on an Easter Bank Holiday. We've won once and lost once, winning at home 2-0 in 1925 and losing up there 2-1 in 1973.

We haven't won in our last 3 games on an Easter Bank Holiday. We've scored only twice in our last 5 games, the lowest over any 5 consecutive Bank Holiday games.
