    Spitting

Hate seeing players spitting on the pitch. Why do they do it? What does it acheive? Not a good influence on the kids surely?

It's to ensure that there is more rheum on the pitch.

Go for a run, you will need to spit. This isn't a debate, it is a fact.

How is it bollocks, I cycle myself and spit loads ( into hedges) . It is disgusting but not when undertaking sports activities. I’m sure if it was classed as an issue the player (s) would be sent off from the field of play.
