EFL Key dates 23/24

The EFL schedule for the 2023/24 season has been confirmed, with the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two campaigns set to start on the weekend of Saturday, August 5th 2023.

All 72 EFL Clubs will release their 2023/24 schedules from 9am on Thursday, 22nd June 2023.

The Carabao Cup will be getting underway week commencing August 7th, with the EFL Trophy starting the following month, week commencing September 4th.

The Finals of both competitions will be held at Wembley Stadium, on Sunday, February 25th for the Carabao Cup and Sunday, April 7th for the EFL Trophy.

The season-ending Sky Bet EFL Play-Offs will once again be staged at Wembley Stadium, this time across two weekends in May 2024. The Championship Play-Off Final will take centre stage on Sunday, May 26th.

EFL Trophy Round One – w/c 4 September 2023

EFL Trophy Final – Sunday 7 April 2024

League One Play-Off Final – Saturday 18 May 2024

League Two Play-Off Final – Sunday 19 May 2024

Championship Play-Off Final – Sunday 26 May 2024

Doubt Sky will want us on much anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a noticeable drop in subscribers every time people had the "joy" of tuning in to our games.

Not just us though is it, who’s tuning in to the likes of Preston v Rotherham or Birmingham v Bristol City etc? I always think it’s just fans of the relevant clubs who couldn’t get to the game. As for the run of the mill football fan it’s football for the trainspotter type fan.
