I’m also in the, I hope Citeh win 5-0 camp. They are the best club team in the world at the moment. This is their chance to put the seal on that.

    That's absolute bullshit

    I don't

If England are playing Greece in the European championships I hope they lose

If one of the big time clubs is in the champions league I like to see them beaten

    Unless they are playing lazio

    Hope Man City win.
Partly because I want another team to do the treble, partly because I like to see the Premier League teams win in Europe, partly because I enjoy watching them play well and partly because i like Pep.

I agree with all of that, and it would also be good to see a new name on the trophy - something that’s only happened on a handful of occasions in the last 30 years and hasn’t happened since Chelsea won it in 2012.

The Premier League teams can piss off , its all that's bad about football

The richer clubs getting richer and richer

Yet people want to see then do well ?

    Beggars belief

It's the league we've played in and hope we get to play in again.
Inter are owned by a massive Chinese company. Does that sit well with you?

Who’s the good guys in your eyes? What if City were playing PSG? Juve? Bayern?

What about Wrexham? They bought the title with huge investment.

West Ham have spent more than every other team they faced in the ECL combined and by quite a decent chunk too.

Every league has rich teams that want to make themselves richer.

I can't see Man City blowing this. They've been steamrollering the opposition for months

Just because Cardiff City will be better off in the greedy league doesn't mean we have to be happy with that

Pep got in a right state in the 2021 Final and picked a side that looked wrong from the moment it was announced. He’s gone a long time without winning a Champions League and it’s bound to prey on his mind. Pep forgets more in a day than I know about football, but it seems to me that if he just sends his team out to play as if it’s just another league game, they’ll win.

Re: I wonder if Man City will blow their lines ?

As well as having a team that are a joy to watch, they most probably have a legal team second to none. I s’pose this is one of the reasons clubs like Bury etc get battered by rules and regulations due to having the duty solicitor representing them. I wouldn’t hold your breath on any of the Premier elite being hung, drawn and quartered. Wrong, perhaps, but that the way life is.

You don’t half post some shite on here sonny.
If you’re not happy with big money going into football then just stop watching the game.
If some middle eastern oil barons wanted to plough dough into us and make us one of the best club teams in the world, we’d be like Cheshire cats.
