A couple of thoughts. First, good on the club for bringing in a manager who comes with contacts in the wider sense. Re. loans, maybe there's an advantage over free transfers. If they don't turn out to be that good you can always send them back at the end of the loan period. It also means you can probably look for better quality players with decent clubs. and the loan system didn't do any harm to Forest last season. Considering the embargo may not be lifted, the club's made a shrewd decision. [can't believe I just typed that !]
