    Berlusconi

Passed away aged 86. Lived a full life but decidedly dodgy in everything he delved in……allegedly.

I wouldn't day he was dodgy in ( everything. )

Been on the plotically scene a long time and successful, not bad for a man who was a salesman and a singer on cruise ships .

    Controversial yes .
    Sex adict yes.
    Tax evader yes .
    Bad hair yes .
Arrested yes as have a lot of politicians these days .

All of the above are common to a lot .

Elected by a lot of folk many times.

Do I like him no .

Was he the first populist PM possibly .

Well known that old Silvio passed laws in Itsly that benefited his businesses and others that changed the law so he could not face prosecution to alleged wrongdoing.

We'll skip over the women he used as sex slaves and underage sex as he's obviously a bit of a lad.

In the past, our friend life on mars has said that underage girls involved in sex trafficking knew what they were getting into and probably enjoyed it really.

Jesus...I had him down as your run-o-the-mill, not-so-secretly right, british nationalist type. Turns out he's incredibly callous on top of it....which come to think of it, probably goes with the territory.

Allowed people to drive at 30 miles per hour on fast roads and even 70 on the motorway.

Bought a suit shirt and tie that fitted.

Is this your comparison of Burlusconi and Drakeford? Good grief!

World's a sadder place for his passing. I suppose Ed Milliband is more your cup 'o tea ..

In the same class as Trump and Johnson. All proven liars, crooks and sex pests. Be great when the 3 of them are gone, but it's a start.

Do you mean the Ed Miliband who didn't commit tax fraud, admire Mussolini, empower the 'post fascists' through gerrymandering, bribe judges, use Mafia money to launch his property developing empire, do a modern version of Caligula with the Senate (for horse read glamour model) and (according to one ex wife) engage in pedophilia alongside his other more famous sexual abuses?

That Ed Miliband? It's just my personal opinion (can't speak for NYCBlue or others) but yes he is more my cup 'o tea.

Perfectly reasonable old fruit. Yes, I know Berluskoni wasn't a saint, but I wouldn't wish him dead. I suppose the question is, would you prefer to live in a world of Berlusconis or Ed Millibands ?

I wish bad people dead. I wouldn't kill anyone, but when Thatcher died I drank a beer and took the day off work.

That’s rather sedate, I’m still celebrating that witch’s demise.

I get your point. But I didn't take the day off to not drink more beers. It's weird, I can remember the exact moment I cracked that first beer, years ago and where the fridge was in an apartment in Brooklyn that I barely recall.

Yes that's the first question that came to my mind when I heard the news.
