This was my late stepfather's first City game after having been a POW in Eastern Europe. He told me that the day after this game he travelled to London for a job interview and while he was there saw Moscow Dynamo play Arsenal at a fog bound White Hart Lane . Actually, he said he was at the game but saw little of it due to the pea souper it was played in. I don't suppose there were may people who saw Moscow Dynamo twice on that tour but he was one of them. I still have his programme for the City game.
My father was there. Bit frail these days, but still with us.
