I have moved seats so got new cards today. I never used them at all last season though. Did it all through my phone.

Still nice to get them in the post. Means the season is getting closer

I had a digital one and so rang the ticket office but they told me it was there as a choice if I wanted it and my old card would just be topped up ready for new season

When I renewed my season ticket back in May I opted to renew the existing card. After doing so, I noticed the card number listed on my online account didn't seem to match with the number on the card itself. I thought it probably didn't matter, but I e-mailed the ticket office and asked the question anyway.

The reply I got was that it was indeed an error on the club's part, but not to worry as they'd send me a new card before the season began. It arrived today.

After I got that reply, I told a couple of friends about it and it turned out that the numbers on their cards didn't match the numbers on their online accounts either, so they also e-mailed the club. They got the same response: it was an error on the club's part and they'd get new cards.

I told them I wanted to use my old cards, yet they still sent out this digital shite !

Just use last seasons card. It will be automatically loaded on there but they sent the digital one out as well for those that prefer that method. The only people that get new cards are new season ticket holders and those that requested a new card in the application process (and paid extra).

I noticed the same. I ended up just ordering a new one though.
