Another vote for Llanerch Vineyard
Afternoon Tea, is it ?
Hmmmm
Angel Hotel - Abergavenny. Award winning teas, but maybe a bit further out than you were hoping.
A spot of tiffin at Sludge's gaff would be ideal. Him sitting there in front of his Che Guevara poster, fried egg stains on his string vest and his goolies hanging out of his droopy off-white drawers whilst slobbering over his Earl Grey and cucumber sandwiches......
Forest Cafe, Fforest Fawr is a cute little hideaway of a spot - just past the entrance to Castell Coch, is a bit of parking on the side of the road.
I would say Lanelay Hall in Pontyclun (the old fire station)
Barkers Tea rooms high street arcade
Celtic Manor
Pettigrew Tea Rooms , Bute Park
Waterloo Gardens Pen Y Lan
thanks all
will put the options to the family
I might be back for a nice pub to eat at instead
