…from the NAL Premiership athletics league with only 1 of 3 fixtures remaining in a truncated season this summer.

Having said that, Cardiff AAC aren’t in the Premiership of 16 clubs this year.

This is a joint men’s and women’s competition in today’s world gone mad (in my almost 70 year old opinion).

I remember they tried something called Super 8 a few years back to try and generate more interest in top level athletics. Cardiff had a team and I remember going to an event at the athletics stadium. Was a good crowd but it never took off - not sure why
