Watched the match on the BBC iplayer and they were awful.

The Andorran sides in Europe are fully professional and full of players from the Spanish lower leagues, very few Andorrans in the squad so it's not like the clubs are reflective of their poor national team

If just taking one leg into consideration, then Merthyr beating Atalanta or Bangor beating Napoli are up there (in terms of best results).

Not one to detract from that fantastic result but two non-league teams beating Serie A opponents trumps that for me.
No, I don’t think so, it was hardly a vintage Real side and we were as near as damnit a First Division side at the time. Putting out the holders Sporting Lisbon a few years earlier when we were struggling near the bottom of the Second Division was probably a bigger giant killing given what happened in the second leg in Madrid.
Think the Rangers defeat is the worst one because it was over two legs.
The result may well have cost Wales a place in Champions League going forward as our coefficient has dropped below Andorra as a result.
