I don't know why he doesn't get more love from the fan base.
Player of the season last year, one of our best defenders, one of our best progressive passers, one of our best dead ball specialists and probably our second best goalkeeper
I'm expecting a big season from him
the new system is putting him in areas of the pitch that he will contribute a lot going forward.

I thought you would be “made up”

    What’s his transfer value again

So good at defending he marked Bowler out of the game against QPR

Ng's fine, I can see why people wouldn't like him though. I think TLG has referenced his play acting in the past

He's better than some of the others and can play in different positions, he won't set the World alight, but rarely lets us down compared to the rest of the defenders.

Once he adjusts back to right back, I think he will do OK, although if we don't get a centre half he may get dragged back into the middle.

Good. That's McGuinness, Wintle and Ng done.

Now I want to see new contracts/extensions for Colwill, Collins, Alnwick (good back up) and Ralls.

Tanner, Denham, Benjamin, Luthra, Allsop, Simpson, Sawyers, Denham, Ojo and Evans only have a year left (I think).

Hopefully Tanner, Denham, Benjamin, Luthra and Evans do enough to earn extensions.

He’s a bit of a wind up merchant isn’t he, but I’m pleased about this - looking back now, I’d say his totally unexpected goal at Birmingham only had Kipre’s goal at Rotherham as a rival for moment of last season.

He's not very good and part of the reason we're mediocre at best

    Re: NG signs new deal

That's great news. He's a whole hearted player who always gives 100%. He's not perfect, but show me a player who is.

    Re: NG signs new deal

Always strikes me as someone who's playing above his pay grade. Absolutely no doubting his commitment and work rate but he never looks confident and comfortable on the ball in tight situations..

Its good news. Hes one of our better players.

If he’s still one of City’s better players I fear it’s going to be another grim season. But hopefully he’s not.

Decent Champ player, so I'm quite pleased he's staying. I don't rate him anywhere nearly as highly as some others but we won't lose him on a free, so that is a plus.

Playing Piroe on by about 5 yards doesn't help

    Re: NG signs new deal

    Happy with it.

    Shouldn't be a guaranteed starter.

Should be in and around the team for the depth needed to do well in the Championship.

    Re: NG signs new deal

He's really slow in possession. He takes a touch, looks up, looks up again, for god's sake Perry, get a wriggle on.

    Re: NG signs new deal

Great news, he of course isnt going to be a world beater, but we are not in that position, he is a honest grafter who gives 100%
He can pick a decent pass, He will gain confidence with Rambo near him

At the moment, he is the best option we have for a RB, unless he kicks on, he will be a decent squad player able to slot in across the back in an emergency.
