didnt know this "Is E10 more powerful than E5?
RAC fuel spokesman Simon Williams said: “those with E10 compatible cars will unfortunately find they are getting fewer miles to the gallon as the fuel is less efficient than E5 fuel, due to it containing 5% more ethanol."

We stayed in Tenby a few weeks ago and noticed the petrol prices were way below those of Cardiff or mid Wales where I live. Not sure why. Closeness to refineries cutting down transport costs maybe?

Don't think so. We are lucky to have a couple of indie garages who are very fair with their prices and don't follow the big supermarkets pricing.
Kiln Park is one, Begelly another.
There is also a good price watch group down here. These garages are aware of them.
