Well, Most fans just treat it like another game. Just like the players these days. To swansea, it's their Champions league final! pure hatred for all things Cardiff. Sad really. We have not beaten them in front of a crowd for 10 years and not many wins prior prior to that.

And it has been since Swansea became a proper rival 40 years or so ago

They were a poxy little town in 1959, when I first started going to City games and they’re still a poxy little Town now.

Used to go on the earliest trains, it was a great day, all you would see were groups of Cardiff fans, it was like a home game in the early 80's.

The fixture is dying, I worked in Swansea, Bridgend and Neath in the past so had loads of Swansea fan colleagues a few stayed mates, we used to nasty banter text after every game, we don't even bother now, although I might restart it if we win!
