    Tanner

What an impact, what a goal.

Does this make Bulut right or wrong?

    A) Bulut got the reaction he wanted to push him
    B) No he should have started and he would have given us even more.
    C) other

The reaction after the game between the two suggests their is no hard feeling.

    Re: Tanner

Hard not to think it's A) when a player comes off the bench, immediately does that and then celebrates like that and gets that kind of reaction at the end. Was very critical of Bulut tactically after the last game but early signs are he does the squad management side of the game really well and the players really respond to him.

    The Evidence overwhelmingly says 'A'

Buluts played a blinder. He was his first change, he wanted that reaction.

Tanner reminds me so much of a younger Jack Grelish. Not just the socks around the ankles, but is movement and control. If we look after this kid we will have a star on our hands

    Also his swagger.

    Re: Tanner

He generated so much power with so little backlift. That's what leg days at the gym can do. Incredible strike.

    Re: Tanner

Every time he has the ball he looks lethal. He has to start every game surely.

His style is very similar to a certain Welsh player that recently retired.

Agree too, there is something about him, he's really enjoying his football, and wins so many free kicks, they couldn't cope with him at all, just like Jack he will get a lot of fullbacks booked.

    Re: Tanner

I love how much he loved it. Even from the back of the stand you could see how much it meant to him.

    He’ll be buzzing for days.

    Re: Tanner

He's definitely a bit raw but streets ahead of Rubin Colwill at the moment.

    Re: Tanner

They need to get him into a new deal asap.

I can’t believe how much he has improved since his sub appearance against Leeds in the cup where he ran for 2 minutes and looked lost.

    Dai Tanner

Get on the phone Page, he must have a Welsh Grandad, Granny, Aunty, Uncle, Corfi coat or something, and works next to the training ground, get his papers sorted.

He already sounds more Welsh than Vinnie Jones, and Pat Van Den Hauwe!

Tanner seems to have no baggage and he's very direct. Too many other players are cautious and look for other options. It’s great to see because it’s a rare skill nowadays and one which many defenders are ¥

Exactly. Plays like he hasnt been coached and ruined too much by the academy systems and professionals clubs. More natural. Childlike but in a good way.

    Hope he can keep it.

    Re: Tanner

Said he’d never make it at championship level because he was overweight and looked like a rabbit in the headlights on his cameo appearance against Leeds.

He’s pushed on massively and I’m so happy for him.
