Whenever the Swansea 'keeper kicked long, it seemed almost inevitable that McGuinness would win the header, he had a great game.

We've had players who have run around a lot... Harry Arter and a diminutive midfielder going back a few seasons (name escapes me ), however, they were just headless chickens! Siopis was both destructive and constructive, there was a real purpose in what he was doing.

Agreed. I really liked him. Knew what he was good at and kept to that.

Siopis...terrific signing...a real dog in midfield which is what we have been lacking...gives others the licence to create...McGuinness...hope we can hold onto him...pair him with Panzo...and with Collins....we really have the making of a top six side....the one weakness (as always) ....a reliable striker...

    Siopis was excellent yesterday.
His €5m valuation looks a steal

A battling box to box midfielder is a joy to watch

    Absolute class
His contract is up next year isn't it? I would hope discussions are ongoing

Alnwick and Tanner are up as well from what I can find

Can’t think of any player that had a poor game on Saturday. We need to give credit where it’s due, keep playing like every game and we’ll do more than ok this season
Walking back Saturday night it reminded of the chopra/ bothroyd/ mcphail era when not only was it a pleasure to watch we also ripped some teams apart
