About the same prices in rural France if it is any comfort........
Luckily our Prime Minister is now the motorist's friend. Am sure it will all be sorted in no time.
I think Rishi mentioned, once or twice* on Laura Kunnesburg's programme last Sunday, that his party had reduced fuel duty by a record amount.
*it was actually about 5 or 6 times, and not once was he asked a question about it.🙂
Anyway, thank heavens there isn't a war on motorists on his watch.
Average unleaded price:
France: £1.71
UK: £1.56
Diesel price:
France: £1.68
UK: £1.61
UK is actually nearly 30p a litre cheaper than the Netherlands.

Funny enough has the same convo with my dad today. Just seems accepted now.
If you use the Bank of England's inflation calculator, fuel isn't much more expensive than it was in the 80s, comparatively speaking.
