I don't know of any democratic country that following such a hideous attack on its citizens wouldn't act against the terrorists that plotted and executed that plan.
That doesn't mean I endorse every single act of Israel, however which war in all of history has ended up with any side involved in the conflict completely innocent in all it has said and done?

Also rewind to October 6th; if tomorrow, the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust wasn't going to happen, how much innocent blood in that region would now have been shed?
Also how many hostiges would currently be in Gaza?
