I'd have thought every man and his brother had realised this months ago. We have long stopped buying any Heinz products and using Aldi and Lidl equivalents more than ever. Having said that though, their prices started from a low base anyway and a lot of their products have increased significantly percentage-wise too. A few examples of the things we buy fairly regularly: large tins of peaches used to be 99p now £1.75, Columbian coffee was about £1.20 now £2.29, Malted Milk biscuits were about 33p, now 49p.
