Just reading on the BBC website about the Nos Galan which many of you will know about.

I remember attending this on several occasions in the mid 60's with my late father who was a freelance press photographer in Cardiff. I got to meet many well known athletes in the day including Ann Packer, Mary Rand, Ron Jones and Lynn Davies. Can't believe that's now 59 years ago when I first went.

Glad to see the tradition continues.
