Not the first time we've had A ****house for the referee

I've come to the conclusion that Bulut's negative tactics might be right. Our attack is not functioning and Etete couldn't hit a barn door.
May just as well put 11 behind the ball and hope for a 0-0 against a Stoke side lacking as much as us.

Anthony Backpass might be more appropriate.

    dull AF

Anyways, back to the real world. Will bulut stick another 2 defensive midfielder in ? how many times does this guy have to put his hand on the f**king stove until he learns?

I cant imagine stoke being anywhere near as dire as blackburn were..expecting a good kicking and park the bus until its too late strat

It's absolutely staggering that we don't have one single body up front that can score even a few goals

How would we know? We could have Haaland up front for him and we'd create less chances for him in a season than he'd get at Man City in 5 minutes.

Serious question about our defensive midfielders - are they actually more defensively effective than our other more attack minded midfielders? Specifically Wintle - I'm not sure he wins any more tackles, interceptions than Colwill would playing there.

Completely agree. Infact our whole team seems to be stronger attacking and playing on the ground. Yet our manager is trying to force them to play defensive hoofball.

Hence why i question not only his decision making as a manager but as a person..he seems very questionable

Significant news from Stoke City - technical director Ricky Martin has been sacked. Martin has come under scrutiny after 24 signings this season, with the club currently only 3 points above the relegation zone

Wintle, Collins and Etete out. A quicker front 3 with a focus on pressing and keeping the ball on the floor.

    ..................Horvarth

    Ng - Phillips - Goutas - Wilson-Esbrand

    ..........Colwill- Siopis- Ralls

    Bowler.........Grant ..........Tanner

Esbrand is awful, he has noawareness at all or ability to defend and is just as poor going forward. I would be amazed if we ever see him at fullback.

Stoke, 1 win and 5 losses in the last 6 games. 4 goals scored, 14 conceded.

    Up against:

Us, 1 win and 4 losses in the last 6 games. 3 goals scored, 11 conceded.

    This game certainly won’t be a classic….

Agree completely with this. Look at Ugbo. With a worse team than us but one who provides opportunities for there strikers. We're possibly the most defensive team in the league.

Not forgetting we have a penchant for helping kick-start other team's recoveries.

    I'd rather Niels Nkounkou back

If Morrison had played that guy in an attacking role he would have been superb for us.
Couldn't defend for toffee though, so Bulut would soon have dropped him.

His early showing haven't been great but he only played 198 minutes for us in games where everyone has been poor. But Collins has been so slow and ponderous lately I'd welcome any reasonable replacement there (Ralls, Romeo even) .
