Do Wimbledon supporters consider it a 'derby' or just view MK Dons as a 'joke and franchise' club who tried to kill theirs?

the72 has named it as one of the top 5 fiercest rivalries in the football league, I guess Wimbledon fans might have a little dislike for them

Wimbledon hate MK. They don't say the name. The club announced the attendance today and they said how many home fans were there so they didn't have to give credit to the away fans that travelled.

They obviously can't stand MK Dons (can't blame them) for stealing their club and history.

    It's a bitter rivalry not a derby.

    I'm a pedantic twaat.

I did type derby between apostrophe's ( but I often use them at the wrong times anyway ) so maybe I subconsciously 1/2 agreed with you anyway

Got sent a clip earlier from Tik Tok showing a City/Wurzel kerfuffle.

Some of the wurzels should learn that those who have the high ground, have the advantage.

I once spoke to a Wimbledon season ticket holder who hated MK Dons but didn't consider them local rivals.

That's the only reason I got the opinion I have. I've no doubt some consider it a derby.

I think the rivalry is very much one way traffic. I get the impression MK fans don’t really have any strong feelings about Wimbledon.

They didn’t see any sort of inflated crowd for the reverse fixture like we do for Swansea and Bristol. The home game against Wimbledon was only the 8th biggest crowd this season.
