Did you miss this in the news Pipsy: HM Revenue and Customs also looked into Angela Rayner’s tax arrangements relating to the sale of her first home, at her request, and it is understood that no further action is being taken.

I think she's a complete hypocrite for slagging off tory housing policy ......rightly so ....but then buying a council house and contributing to the lack of social housing available to others

There are a few Conservatives in this thread who have been left with egg on their faces by yesterday’s news. It’s strange how some of them are unrepentant when shown to be wrong, yet they have so little to say when the allegations of corruption are against members of their party.

By contrast, there are plenty of left leaning contributors on here who are happy to let justicetake its course when Labour politicians are accused of corruption - in doing so, they show the maturity that the people who have been proved wrong in this thread often accuse them of lacking.

Abbott - is her son (the privately educated one) still in jail ?, He attacked a couple of nurses, a doctor, a therapist and 4 coppers apparently , Abbott allegedly tried to get reporting of the court case stopped - class. She should be allowed to stand again - but based on her history - she'd be better off in the Lords just talking b0llox like the rest of them and getting her £300 a day
