The royal life ain't what it used to be, that's for sure. Time was it was probably the most fascinating gig around, which is why usurpation, or attempts at usurpation, were constant. But not for this Harry the glories of Agincourt, and not for the pending William the glory of Hastings or the triumph of 1688. For them it's just a bunch of ribbon cuttings and weekly sessions with prime ministers who don't care in the least what you think. A tedious life, really. No wonder Harry seeks his comforts elsewhere.
