I think the intention was to use him like a Taraabt but then Tomlin got injured for the start of the season and let’s be honest we never looked back that season.

If he was playing in the play off semi finals with his ‘tendon off the bone’ why did the club wait until early in the following season for him to have an operation?
Surely he should have been treaded a few days after the loss to Fulham to give him the summer to recover and get back to fitness…… :-/
