City v Sunderland: A cast iron guarantee

A draw and 5 consecutive losses is their form. They are going to be spanked like a bad boy at Cliff Richard’s Portuguese villa.

I am telling you. A beating looms large for Sunderland. 2-0 to City. I rest my case.

TOMORROW WE ARE PUMPING ASS.BRING IT ON!!!!

    I’d prefer a performance “today”

    What a plank

Remember to wind your clocks back on Sunday

If you are a team on a horrible run and unable to buy a win you must pray that you play Cardiff City.
We must be the best tonic for shit teams

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SUNDERLAND. Match thread

I suppose it’s good we’re all different, supporting City has been mostly a joyless experience in recent years, Wales on the other hand have helped me keep my faith in the game.

As for flags, anthems etc I’m against them unless they’re Welsh and accept that’s a position I cannot logically defend except to say that I definitely get the hairs on the back of my neck standing up feeling when I hear the Welsh anthem sung well, so it’s just something within me which I cannot deny.

Not so now which is great of course
I agree and maybe I sounded a bit disrespectful but personally I think it devalues it singing it many times during the game.

    Such a rousing anthem.

It does seem like the end of an era rather than the dawning of a new one with RP and our dodderers upstairs at the helm.

    Hope I'm proved wrong.

Not for me. I had got over Swansea 2 days later. Wales defeat will rankle all summer.

Quite interesting to see some comments on this thread.

I was going to say I can't be less interested in this game following Wales and Swansea defeats.

The season is over for me

    Same as you.

I think it'll linger on for quite a while after

I like the look of this line-up:

Cardiff City: Horvath; Ng, Phillips, Goutas, Wilson-Esbrand; Wintle, Ralls (c); Bowler, Colwill, O'Dowda; Grant

Subs: Turner, Romeo, Siopis, Turnbull, Ramsey, Tanner, Meite, Robinson, Diedhio

So we're going to attack... hope Ramsey gets on for 20 minutes
